TIXCET is Diatomaceous earth

Diatomaceous earth (D.E.) more commonly known as diatomite is derived from the fossilized shells of diatoms, which are microscopic algae that live in salt and fresh water and are among the most prolific and important aquatic organisms, serving as food for many animals. When diatoms die their tiny shells sink to the bottom where they can accumulate in huge deposits and when these diatom remains are mined; then they are crushed into coarse or fine particles, depending on their intended use. Most diatomaceous earth is made of amorphous silicon dioxide. However, it can contain very low levels of crystalline silicon dioxide. The first pesticide products containing silicon dioxide (diatomaceous earth) were registered in 1960 to kill insects and mites.

There are thousands of non-pesticide products that contain diatomaceous earth and these include skincare products, toothpaste, foods, beverages, medicines, rubbers, paints, and water filters. The Food & Drug Administration lists diatomaceous earth as "Generally Recognized as Safe". "Food grade" diatomaceous earth products are purified and used as anticaking materials in feed, or as clarifiers for wine and beer.

How does TIXCET work?

For insecticide purposes, the diatom shells are pulverized into dust so that they will easily cling to pest bodies. When fleas/Ticks come in contact with TIXCET during massaging or even crawl through TIXCET, its particles abrade and puncture the tough, waxy layers that coat the exoskeleton of insects and pierce the soft bodies of other pests like slugs. The pests' body fluids leak out and within a short time, this loss of fluid causes them to die of dehydration. TIXCET is deadly to pests because its minute dust particles are razor sharp and act like shards of broken glass, lacerating and piercing the pests' bodies. The injuries become fatal as vital fluids drain out, and the pests quickly die.

How to Use?

Just massage TIXCET powder into fur and skin for deeper penetration. Rub with a cloth or a brush thoroughly. Leave the powder for 3-4 days and repeat the process 4-5 times for complete effect.
